Yr 3 & Yr 5 - NAPLAN

The National Assessment Program- Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) will be completed by our Years 3 and 5 students. The results of these tests provide important information to our school and will be used to support teaching and learning programs. Parents will receive a report indicating their child’s level of achievement. 

From 2023 NAPLAN is moving to Term 1, the tests will be conducted across Australia for all students from the 15th to the 27th of March. The timetable below indicates which dates we will be completing the tests. It is important that your child attends school on these days. Please ensure they arrive at 8:45am to allow time to settle in, they will be provided with a small fruit break each day.

Wednesday 15th March

Writing 

Year 3- 40 minutes (on paper)

Year 5- 42 minutes (typing)

Thursday 16th March

Reading

Year 3- 45 minutes

Year 5- 50 minutes

Language Conventions

Year 3- 45 minutes

Year 5- 45 minutes

Friday 17th March

Numeracy

Year 3- 45 minutes

Year 5- 50 minutes

Monday 20th- Friday 24th March
